A reminder to reporters: Because Trump tariff numbers are made-up nonsense, using the phrase “reciprocal tariffs” is lying to your audience. The phrase itself is propaganda. They are not reciprocal.

Just send a little text - easy peasy.
Distracted driving is a major issue. Yesterday an injured cyclist told us the driver who hit them said "I didn't see you", when they were there to be seen. We'd love to see automated enforcement like in Australia that tickets drivers on their phones.

Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

Figured I’d hop on here today for the 15th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act.

With everything going on right now, it’s easy to feel like regular folks can’t make a difference – but the ACA is a reminder that change is possible when we fight for progress.

There’s now a direct daytime train between them, that takes 8 hours and costs just €59. Leave at 10am, arrive 6pm.

And… it’s just 1% the carbon emissions of the equivalent flight

Implicit in a lot of anti-vaccination and anti-public health narratives like those of RFK Jr is a deep disgust/fear of disability; but also an unspoken hope that unchecked disease will "cull" the population of "weaker/less fit" people.
I really just can't see past a lot of that.

The truck used in the New Orleans terrorist attack is a Ford F-150 Lightning, which is perfectly designed for this kind of attack.

It weighs more than 6000 lbs, accelerates to 60 mph in just 4 seconds, and the battering-ram-shaped front is nearly 5 feet tall. Deadly by design.

Have been seeing more people sick with influenza (and this is sick to the point they’re seeking emergency medical care) than I have since this time in 2019.

Nobody likes to hear it but the one thing that would most reliably make their symptoms better is going back in time and getting a flu shot. 🤷‍♂️

Driving while watching TV is impressive & also incredibly dangerous! How have we plummeted to such low levels of road safety? Oh wait, it's because we treat driving as a privilege, give slaps on the wrists to motorist who kill cyclists/peds, & coddle entitlement. #hamont
