I'm told the new AVATAR deliberately has a 15-minute section that you can miss without missing anything memorable, and that it's any random 15-minute section of the movie.
They say the new AVATAR is 3hr 15min. Historically there have been many shorter films with an intermission. A movie that long needs an intermission. Maybe Na'vi can go that long without taking a whizz, but I can not. Theaters make more $ on popcorn sales, too. Cameron is being a putz. Am I wrong?
