Huge shout out to the New York public library, I never removed my tag from my keys after I moved several years ago, I lost my keys the other day, somebody found them and asked the library and the library gave me his contact info and now I have my keys back!

This is a great time to remind everyone that US farmers are a lot wealthier than we think they are.

Most *small family farmers* are millionaires. And no, it's not "just because they own land." Their income is much than average- yes, AFTER you take out farm debts and expenses.

There seems to be a belief that English muffins weren't invented in England: claiming that the Thomas' brand, founded in 1880 in Manhattan by a British baker, were the first.

This may be the oldest EXISTING brand, but there are recipes for 'English-style' muffins in English cookbooks from 1747.
