Sorry to stop by with some joy, I'm pretty anxious myself too, but luckily I found the ducks I was looking for. Backlit which can be better for editing later on. Just some quick edits. 🪶

Where's Waldo?
I had some trouble getting a full shot of a Collared Redstart today. I'm hoping to have more opportunities. We are halfway through our Costa Rica #birding trip. Kudos to Pieter Westra of Aratinga Tours who made arrangements for car rental, guides and accommodations. #SelfTouring

I hope I'm not late to Rob and Alan's #BirdOfTheDay theme, which I understand is "Taking off." Here is a Blue-throated Mountain Gem I spotted yesterday at Paraiso Quetzal's Hummingbird Gardens, about to be what we call a Se Fue bird. Cheers!

Talamanca Hummingbirds were Magnificent Hummingbirds when last we visited. They are still magnificent despite the name change. This female was determined to get every last drop of nectar from this flower just outside our bungalow, just minutes ago. #birding #CostaRica

We didn't #bird the mountains of Costa Rica very much on our previous visit. At Paraiso Quetzal today we saw 10 new life species, including this pair of Black-and-yellow Silky-flycatchers.
