Experts say it’s highly unusual for the White House to tell agents to give up custody of potential evidence in an investigation, as it did with the Tates.

“I’ve never heard of anything like that in my 30 years working,” an ex-DHS official said.
The White House Intervened on Behalf of Accused Sex Trafficker Andrew Tate During a Federal Investigation
Federal authorities were chided for seizing electronic devices from Tate and his brother, and told to return them, records and interviews show. Experts said the intervention was highly inappropriate.

UPDATE: DOJ lawyers state that DHS Sec. Kristi Noem made decision not to return March 15 flights.

Also Tuesday, ACLU lawyers name Emil Bove, now a federal judge, as a possible witness in Boasberg's contempt inquiry over the flights.

Meta’s smart glasses are the kind of product that you can imagine would be a hit with white guys in tech. Yet their ad campaign has exclusively shown quirky, pretentiously artsy Black women using the product.

The rhetoric from this administration over this video feels like they are loudly shouting “yes, we are fascists! Why is this so hard to understand?”
Astronaut Mark Kelly is being investigated by the Pentagon for saying stuff that is legally true. The more you analyze the legalities here, the more obvious it is that the pentagon’s investigation is blatantly corrupt and unreasonable.

Wow.

U.S. District Judge Cameron McGowan Currie ruled Lindsey Halligan's appointment unlawful and the prosecutions against New York Attorney General Letitia James and former FBI Director James Comey therefore invalid.

Both indictments are dismissed without prejudice.

Funny how that one plot point in Ender’s Game, combined with the primary topic of posts for many accounts on here, would have you believe that opinions pieces are an absolute force of nature in the average American’s daily life. We just can’t get enough of all these op-eds, apparently.
