WHAT ANNOYING GUYS THINK SUN TZU'S ART OF WAR SAYS: show everyone in every single situation you're the big dog, literally bark in your bosses face to assert dominance

ACTUAL SUN TZU: no but seriously you do have to feed your army

I always use my lunch break to read. But as good as it is, perhaps my ARC of the new @tkingfisher.com is not the BEST choice for while I'm eating 😂

i remain resolute in my confidence we will win and it will be because we stuck together. dooming and fatalism is not how any of us will get out of this mess. i’m saying this as a veteran climate journalist who is a trans woman. if i have more hope than you, think of what that says about your view

Conservative comedians claim you can't write comedy without hitting somebody else but I put it to you that Millennials have proven that wrong with absurdist humor for years.

This post has existed in one form or another for a decade and it still causes people to piss themselves laughing to this day.
I’ve been quoting this at least once a day for the past almost 10 years lol

Please everyone....stop saying anything at the library is free. Not only do the services cost us money, it is our taxpayers money. Everyone PRE-PAYS for these services.

Sitting at dinner at my friend's house, I banged my elbow on the table while moving my hand to my lap. I hit it just in the right spot and hard enough that I passed out
What's the stupidest way you've hurt yourself?

Oh I'm so glad you asked! I knocked myself out with a frozen bag of omelettes.

I remember my first week teaching. I lost my voice because I wasn't used to speaking for 5+ hours in a day. And while I finally figured that part out, I can't even imagine going for TWENTY FIVE hours--even at 24 years old. #goodtrouble

I am doing this as well bc goddammit this is the good trouble we want to see in the world
At 24 hours and 19 minutes, he will shatter Thurmond's record.

I'm giving him $24.19 right now. Because he damn well earned it.

Just so everybody understands, Booker has been speaking cogently about the issues the entire time and Strom Thurmond famously spent hours reading from the encyclopedia, because segregationists were and are dumbshits
If Sen. Cory Booker makes it to 7:19 p.m. EST, he will break segregationist Dixiecrat Strom Thurmond's record for his 24 hour 18 minute Senate floor speech against the Civil Rights Act of 1957.

The "too little, too late"/"not good enough"/"won't change anything" attitude can be voiced about any individual action taken by any single person, which is why it's such a self-defeating take. Collective action includes all of our individual actions. It's all needed
