Everyone is talking about how bad the flu is.

Media & healthcare facilities are pleading with people to get their flu shot.

To stay home when sick.

To wash their hands.

Very few are recommending masks. When we had mask mandates we eliminated an entire flu strain.

Mask up!

Also, it's took them until 2023 to realize Calibri is better - not just accessible but all-around better - than Times New Roman???? Where had they been for the previous 2 decades?
Marco Rubio ordered diplomats to return to using Times New Roman font in official communications, calling his predecessor's decision to adopt Calibri a “wasteful” diversity move

The secretary of state called it a "wasteful" diversity move, according to an internal department cable seen by Reuters.

We're half a decade into studies finding that improving airflow in classrooms will reduce disease transmission enormously, and that bleaching surfaces etc. does very little. And yet nothing changes. Waves of flu and colds wash over schools, and the schools pretend it's an act of God.

It’s wild to me that people would prefer to spend a week or so being sick than to risk being judged by strangers for wearing a mask in public.

And that’s assuming that they believe “it’s mild” dogma and have no idea about the potential long term consequences.

Social control is a powerful thing.

Decoration Day, Armistice Day and Remembrance Day have all been days to honour Canada's veterans.
For a time, our day of remembrance fell on the same day as Thanksgiving.
But Remembrance Day as we know it has been celebrated 1931.
This is the story.

Kids: let's put up the tree! Can't wait until Christmas!

Me: this is nice. Why didn't I enjoy Christmas like this last year?

Mom: everyone is coming for Christmas. They'll test but you can't interrogate them about symptoms and scare them away.

Me: I remember now. 46 days until Boxing Day...

It's protecting a) the cancer patient and b) the child who is still too small to wear a mask.
