For Thursday, I think I'm gonna go and watch the whole original trilogy from start to finish, because that's what used to be on the TV for Thanksgiving.

Every presidential system has degraded into an authoritarian or at best authoritarianism lite.
The separated powers with all the executive power vested in an independent singular eventually runs into conflict with the legislative, and then the executive power grabs.

I firmly believe in a system of separated powers, because I believe in keeping government divided. Prime Ministers are *vastly* too powerful by always having a majority. Separate mandates for the exec and legislature - and I want layers and circuit breakers between "the people" and national govt.

What's really important is that the world is boba not kiki.
People were arguing in my mentions today about whether the Earth is "round" when it's technically an irregular oblate spheroid and look "round" doesn't mean "absolutely perfect sphere" it means round. A soccer ball is round, a cantaloupe is round, a fluffy borb in winter is round, just go with it.
