📍Senator Fetterman had a VFIB—the leading cause of cardiac arrest—he almost died if not for his implanted defibrillator, which can cost $34,000 to over $51,000. Days ago, he also just voted with GOP to gut health insurance tax credits for millions. Hope he has a change of heart.

Hi @grahamformaine.bsky.social

You said you stand by your earlier question. Cool.

Ignorant stereotypes aside, this Black man is a damn good tipper.

Now my question for you: how many Black people did you even serve in Maine, with a 1.68% Black population, to make that kind of judgment?

Folk in Pennsylvania voted for John Fetterman because they thought he was a progressive and found out he was just Kyrsten Sinema in a funky hoodie and unwashed basketball shorts.

It means Platner is Oyster Fetterman. A phony populist with right wing ties (Blackwater + Erik Prince instead of Karl Fetterman) whose only bona fides are his pRoGgReSsiVe aesthetics.

Substitute the jogging shorts for an oyster boat and watch the money flow in from the most gullible people around
What do you mean “transparently fraudulent”?

You (who lives in California) seem to think you know Maine politics. LePage only won governor because there was a split vote on the left. Mills is not that popular having vetoed several bills despite having a democratic legislature.

Sorry I was late to your wedding, my flight was canceled because my pilot posted a Charlie Kirk quote verbatim in the comments of an Instagram Reel.
Hard to think of a more on-the-nose encapsulation of how far the online speech wars have swung in the year of our lord 2025 than major U.S. corporations racing to fire people whose tweets offended Milo Yiannopoulos

GOP Sens. Lisa Murkowski & Dan Sullivan and GOP Rep. Nick Begich just voted to kick up to ~96,000 of their constituents off of healthcare coverage.

That's 13.1% of the total population of Alaska.

where are all the motherfuckers in the media who are still mad Joe Biden ended their forever war in Afghanistan and called it "concern for the Afghans who helped us," now?
An Afghan man who worked as a translator for the U.S. military during the war was detained by ICE after showing up for a hearing inside of a federal courthouse in San Diego, his attorney says. He fears that if he returns to Afghanistan, he would be tortured or even killed, @nbcsandiego.com reports.

DHS is arguing members of the Secret Service don't know who a U.S. Senator is, that he didn't identify himself (he does in the tape), lunged towards the Noem (not evident on the tape), and somehow all this necessitated him being hauled away, thrown to the ground and cuffed. x.com/DHSgov/statu...

Your friendly reminder that Trump is using legitimate concerns about antisemitism as a pretext to go after perceived political opponents. Jews don't benefit from this. Only Trump does.
NEW—Rubio issues State Dept. cable instructing enhanced social media vetting for ALL people (students, faculty, etc) seeking travel visas to Harvard under guise of “antisemitism.”

All social media profiles must be public, otherwise seen “as an effort to evade or hide certain activity.”

It's not that Biden's decline while in office, and the effort to hide it, isn't a story. It's just that the guy *currently* in office is also in serious decline, dangerously so, and was even before he was elected, and there oddly doesn't seem to be the same fervor to cover that story.

The president of the United States can't stop obsessing over Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and his former opponent.

It's almost like he's a washed up reality TV star who is obsessed with celebrities and who is deeply insecure.
Is Trump now threatening to prosecute Beyoncé?
May 19, 2025 at 1:30 PM
He’s mad at Taylor, he’s mad at Bruce, he’s mad at Beyoncé. At least he still has kid rock!
Donald Trump spent the night ranting about investigating Beyonce so that you would forget that House Republicans just moved a bill forward that would cut Medicaid.

Don’t let them get away with it.
