In case people are wondering how I have so many posts here, I moved my Tweets over so I can get away from "over there." I've been there since 2006.
I remember where I was the first time I tasted one, even. It was slightly mind-altering.
I get sad when I see sun dried tomatoes on examples of cringe "dated" food trends because it's got to be one of the best tomato innovations in tomato history.

my wife and her entire team were fired over Zoom from their program manager jobs at a local nonprofit Seattle hospital this Spring because Trump just stopped paying Medicaid reimbursements. and this is a relatively affluent urban center

we're really not prepared for what's coming
As a direct result of President Trump's Big Ugly Bill, almost 300 jobs will be cut from Providence Swedish's First Hill, Cherry Hill, Ballard, and Issaquah hospitals and clinics. These are not the only layoffs we've seen in our health care system in Washington state in recent months.
Providence Swedish to eliminate nearly 300 positions
The cuts will affect jobs at Providence Swedish’s First Hill, Cherry Hill, Ballard and Issaquah hospitals and nearby clinics.

In 1970, Charles M. Schulz introduced Franklin, the first Black character in Peanuts. Readers wrote letters of gratitude: “Thank you.” It was a milestone, a small sign of progress. Yet at the Thanksgiving table, Franklin sat alone. No one beside him.

So cool that whenever someone asks the president, “did you eat the Lindbergh baby” he’s like, “no but I’d be allowed to, I have the right to, I might do it later”
