these pathetic performances are only going to get more impotent and humiliating as he continues to lame duckify and degrade
Trump on AI: "You can't go through 50 states. You have to get one approval. 50 is a disaster. Because you'll have one woke state and you'll have to do all woke. You'll be back in the woke business. We don't have woke anymore in this country. It's virtually illegal. You'll have a couple of wokesters"

The dumbest, stupidest, funniest part of this administration is that Kimmel getting to come back after a massive public pressure campaign folded Disney like a lawn chair is basically the exact moment Trump's authoritarian project failed.
I'd go as far as to say they mistook the (rightfully) notorious complacency of American institutions for an early total victory.

Now do you see? They're not evil geniuses. They don't have any sort of REAL plan.

They're horribly, horribly inept. They do nothing but break shit and sweep stuff under the rug. Project 2025 is a wishlist of unicorn farts and fairy dust.

They never had any idea what they were doing.

I just learned that the first issue of The Amazing Spider-Man: Torn debuted at #15 out of the top 200 in sales (just 6 spots behind the main ASM line) and at #14 in sales (just 3 spots behind ASM). And issue 2 is even better. Still time for new readers to jump on board.

Reality: Russ Vought accidently coded some firings at CDC wrong and had to bring back more than half of them, taking his grand total of "mass firings during the shutdown" to a whopping 3k or so.

Also they nearly broke the mortgage market and had to bring those people back too.

They almost certainly fired the people who would be working on this. 🤷‍♂️
this politico piece credulously quotes a number of anonymous white house advisors whose answers are all, basically, “we are sure someone is working on it”

This is very true. People need to quit trying to predict the apocolypse and realize that Trump and his viziers are very weak.

I think we need to call this Psylocke announcement what it is: Racist and Sexist. The original Acts of Vengeance change was never meant to be permanent, and had the benefit of being drawn by an Asian American, but should never have lasted for the decades that it did.

I love the creators of a certain generation complaining about not wanting Spider-Man to "Grow old with them."

It's like- dude, you guys are entering or are *in* your 60's.

I never understood the "we need to update Magneto's origin because he's too old" when you have characters like Apocalypse, Mystique, Wolverine, Mr Sinister and many other that had live for centuries at their peak physique, but it's too hard to believe with the holocaust survivor?

26,000 YouTube views for Sinclair’s Charlie Kirk tribute special.

Just for comparison, Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue on any average Wednesday will get between two and four MILLION YouTube views.

Right wing culture is fringe stuff. It is not American culture by any stretch.
Everything about this headline is hilarious. And the YouTube views are a reflection of how wildly the right has overblown the number of people paying attention.
