They didn't treat the situation like an emergency. Which is actually part of their job. The "won't happen on my watch crowd" blew it off, and it cost lives.

I think we are underestimating how quickly it will happen. From what I understand, the collapse will be almost immediate. Nothing in this bill pushes things out past 2026.
