How does Brooks/NYT not understand that they are the "insular, self-indulgent and smug" ones? To associate this moment with QAnon instead of feminism is to completely misrepresent the room. And to claim no one meant to hurt anyone... unabashed mansplaining in defense of the "Epstein Class".

I'm old enough to remember when "armed agents of the federal government raiding churches on Christmas" was not, in fact, a cornerstone of the Republican Party's agenda.
