It has been true for the past decade. Senator Collins has lost all credibility that her supposed priorities - Health research! Civility! Freedom from Government overreach! A smaller deficit! Tax fairness! - ever mattered to her at all. Loyalty to $$ and protecting her wealthy predator friends wins
Well, my fellow Maine voters. Here is Susan Collins today paying tribute to her boss while holding her MAGA hat.

KAITLAN COLLINS: What would say to Epstein survivo---

TRUMP: You are so bad. You are the worst report. No wonder CNN has no ratings. She's a young woman. I don't think I've ever seen you smile. They should be ashamed of you.

Y’all want to sit up here and write bills as it relates to literally 10 collegiate athletes. That’s all we have that are trans!

We have thousands of people being incarcerated and we are subjecting our communities to abuse..

But no, no, let’s focus on the 10 trans kids!”

So, right now, the only reliable way to diagnose endometriosis is with exploratory surgery. But finally, real scientists (instead of male scientists), are on the job & of course they’ve identified multiple markers in menstrual blood that point to noninvasive testing.

In Springfield, Ohio, people are preparing in advance of a “large deportation” promised by the president. To all appearances, the city is two or three days from a federal ethnic cleansing, grounded in a hate campaign organized by the vice-president and American Nazis.

a woman reached out to donate 500,000 delta skymiles to get people home to MN as they are released from custody in TX.

we're getting flights booked today. it should be enough to get at least 15 people home.

delta should be doing for free since they take ICE money.

what impressed me most today was that a huge crowd of people who mostly had never been tear gassed managed to retreat without running or trampling each other. under a cloud of gas that was not moving (zero wind), people held onto each other and walked blind down a street packed tight as sardines
Just got gassed pretty good at the labor union anti-ICE protest in Portland. Massive march, 5-10k strong. Vibes were very much liberal rather than radical. Lots of kids and older folks.

They gassed the whole crowd as soon as it marched on ICE, in broad daylight.

It’s esp hard because so many orgs are working triple time to meet the increase in crisis calls + funding cuts and many partners ending shared supports. It’s not easy for the SV crisis orgs to also do movement organizing or rapid response but we need their input to navigate the deep trauma response

Which movement orgs are leading the feminist strategy for addressing Epstein files in biggest possible way? Is there a trauma informed plan to organize and demand answers and gigantic structural change? There is so much collective outrage but I don’t know where to find movement orgs? #SV #MeToo

ICE watchers are being detained and harassed — but they're also stopping ICE abductions and inspiring others to join them

Based on what I've seen, at least 4 current/former Harvard professors have now been named as Epstein associates. Which seems notable given prior reporting that Epstein used false promises of "elite" college admissions to lure young girls into his web of abuse.

Minnesota is grieving. But we’re resolved. The support we’ve received from across the country has energized us, and given us hope.

It’s time for the federal government to draw down their forces and let us get back to allowing freedom, opportunity, and security – for everyone.

There was a time when Senator Collins really sold herself as a “fiscal conservative“ who believed in civil rights and privacy, and generally letting people be. The switch to openly and happily taking money from hard-working Mainers & future generations to fund billionaires is not going to fly here.

I’ve never seen anything like the efforts being made to maintain community. A human wall outside an immigrant owned business, intricate networks for food+ deliveries, and a very Maine irreverence for authority. We really do not like being told what to do and civil liberties are bipartisan value.
