8 ancient Democrats, wealthy beyond what most of us can dream, who’ve never feared that they might go without, who’ve never worried about the cost of medical treatment or medication, screwed those who carry those concerns every waking moment, demonstrating the uselessness of the Democratic Party.

Several years ago a young woman went to prison for encouraging her boyfriend to kill himself. Suing these companies into oblivion is not enough. Their leaders are criminally responsible.
1.This is not the only known example we know of ChatGPT cheering on a vulnerable young person to die by suicide, this time it is a recent Texas A&M grad
2. Every single university that has invited OpenAI into our midst should be asked to account for their choices.

We should totally do renewables.

Flying today and Sunday, home to California to celebrate my mom’s life. Not worried about making it to LA. Our return trip may be a bit more in doubt.

I don’t mind that the NYT has some conservative columnists. What I object to is that two of them, Douthat and Bret Stephenson, are idiots.

When I moved from Montana to NY (Rochester! Not NYC!) 27 years ago, conservative colleagues said “don’t get mugged” and “watch out for the criminals.” “Don’t get a disease,” said another. Nothing new in the anti-Mamdani, any NYC rants from the right. The same old racism in new clothes.
Immigrants? In New York City???? sorry i've never read a book so this sounds scary and strange to me bsky.app/profile/park...

Long ago, my mother’s family was made up of Irish immigrants to New York City. Last night was a good night. Though I have never lived in NYC, I was very much inspired by Mamdani’s decisive victory over the old people who have failed to address such screamingly obvious problems.

It was Subway, made from ingredients compressed with high pressure, plastics, and whatever film Jared left around the place. Flavor and nutrition? Non-existent. But the structural integrity of a flung Subway foot-long is high. A real sub sandwich? THAT would have exploded.
The defense team presses Lairmore on whether the sandwich really 'exploded.' They return to the photo of the sandwich and wrapper on the ground.
"That sandwich hasn't exploded at all, has it?" defense asks.
"It looks like a little bit is coming out towards the bottom," Lairmore replies.

People fucking hate this guy. They fucking hate ICE. They fucking hate how much power he has. He is at 63% overall disapproval to 37% approval. That's lower than their poll after January 6th. And this poll was done before he started intentionally starving people. I wish our media would reflect this.

Reporters: ask whichever Trump official you get in front of you this question:
“Are you an antifascist?”
It won’t matter and won’t change any minds but it’d be nice to see you all acting like the Fourth Estate.
