I remain convinced that Du Bois being an incredible data visualizer is one of the most fascinating and least well known parts of his legacy - it offers so much insight into how he saw the need to communicate social data rather than just research it

a big part for me of finally coming out as a trans guy and starting medical transition is just accepting that im gonna be a kinda goofy looking dude. im not gonna be an adonis! im not gonna look like wolverine! i'm gonna be 5'3 and stocky even if i work out like a fiend. but that's ok!
