This is a white supremacy, ideological, ACT party indoctrination camp, not a rich & creative all world view balanced curriculum. If you want your sons to end up like Andrew Tate & daughters to become 1940’s housewives then sure, this is the school for you! 🤬 #nzpol

The former Free Speech union boss says he’s excited to have a school that could “remember the virtue of civilisation that has come from the West”.

88% of Fonterra farmers vote to cash out and take the money. We've lost a huge Kiwi asset and Fonterra's damage to our environment, waters and health will forever be repaid by Kiwis. Pandering to farmers in the way ACt/Nat does is BS. NZ First's posturing all saddle, no horse #nzpol

If it wasn't enough for John Key to make his millions in banking, or by being PM to his personal advantage, or by taking plum directorships post his PM stint, he's now filtering off millions of our education funds into an elite academy that most of us won't get any benefit from.

It's incredible to me that we had people calling for public executions of politicians during Covid, but we now have people dying in hospital corridors and carparks because of a government-engineered health system collapse and apparently none of those same people are bothered by it.

I'm just going to put it out there: The new recipe sultana pasties are an insult to consumers, as the chocolate macaroons have been for some time. The pasty is far the worst "new formula" Aotearoa biscuit, with its crumbly half baked sugary filling bearing no resemblance to the former flaky interior

Snuffing out every lingering ray of hope for the disability community
Speaking of health, the proposed Pae Ora legislation changes actively undermine the actions for Health in the NZ Disability Strategy - which were apparently approved by the Minister of Health??

Appalling racismfrom Rata as usual
Just in case anyone is in any doubt the curriculum rewrite has been a political project.

Explain to me how using a national curriculum to end decolonisation’s success is compatible with lifting Māori educational outcomes.

curriculum … It will be … along with still-to-be-written Science and History curricula, the circuit breaker in replacing the Learning Approach
and ending decolonisation's success.”

These are the pay equity claims that the government wiped out in just two days to make its budget balance. It's appalling that tax breaks for tobacco companies are being funded by cutting women's pay rises and backpay.
