Feeling very sad tonight - my daughter's Very Good Boy, Murphy, had to be put down today because of illness. He's been a wonderful family dog for my grandkids, and we'd hoped to have him around for much longer. RIP Murphy.

We made this during lockdown and have finally got a new cover for it - the original was a mattress bag. It's a great sunny space for vegetables that don't mind the cold but aren't happy in snow.

A day later, but here it is: the Nautilus. An extended triangular scarf in handspun Haunui white wool (19.8 micron) blended with 30% mulberry silk, hand-dyed. Spun as over 3 ply merino yarn, then plied with a fine merino lace yarn with attached beads. Needle size 7.5mm. Total yarn weight 220gr.
