The story told here--one where anecdata suggests agency and autonomy have run amok and nameless activists are to blame--certainly rhymes with the NYT's disastrous panic about trans kids. Then you realize it's literally being written by the same author.

If you care about video games at all, read this.

A lot of the greatest game developers are marginalized people that face harassment both inside and outside work. They should be protected at all costs to keep making great games, but all too often are thrown out and abandoned instead.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

Journalists will write about distrust of public health and science institutions in the U.S. and just ignore that many media outlets have spent years normalizing anti-science and anti-vax views. These quacks played you, preying on fears of bias accusations to get favorable coverage.

and you’re like, yeah that one eye, that fragment of cheek and those heavily bitten lips seem to pass

It's worth saying here that these employees, some of whom have been with the company for more than a decade, were escorted out of the building by security guards after being fired.

They weren't allowed to speak to their coworkers. They weren't allowed to collect their belongings from their desks.

One of the craziest things about people buying ivermectin prescriptions from scam artists like Dr. Drew and the other clingers is that ivermectin is already available without a prescription for considerably cheaper!
This is funny to me because it's obviously a bad idea for an anti parasitic with relatively narrow indications to be made OTC, however this will financially hurt grifters like Peter McCullough and The Wellness Company who sell ivermectin prescriptions online.
