The fact that four hostile drones tried to hit Zelenskyy’s plane & it’s barely a blip in the news cycle should terrify everyone. We’ve been dragged so deep into the chaos era that an attempted strike on a world leader doesn’t even break through. When this becomes normal, the world is in real danger.

Amazon is trying to kill the post office, and make no mistake: it will do the same in Canada.

Its subcontracted delivery model must be regulated out of existence if we care about not just the postal service, but ensuring delivery workers have good, union jobs they can depend on.

While I wish all of these productions great success, I wonder why Canadian theatres are so eager to pay huge royalties to American companies and import US culture. When will we support Canadian artists that could develop amazing productions? It takes money. I'm tired of US cultural invasion.
I’m working my way through the Ontario Frozens at the moment (I’ll be seeing the Grand’s in a few weeks), and I’ve been so delighted to get to know this show better.

I loved talking shop with five directors for this story. ❄️❄️❄️

I am sure that America's First Nations would wholeheartedly agree with this.

This stuff would be absolutely batshit insane in ANY country. I mean, think of the absolute worst country you could possibly think of, & this would be batshit insane there.

Trump & GOP have made it a daily occurrence in the United States, along with too many other fascist & corrupt things to count.
Agents in Key Largo, Florida ripped this woman wearing medical scrubs out of her car as she screamed she is a US citizen. Agents cuffed her and put her in one of their cars.

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

This is all by design. Wait for the school “voucher” program coming soon.
This is how stupid Ontario’s “Minister of Education” thinks we are:
Starve public system of funds, escalate class sizes, understaff all programmes, report unsatisfactory test scores, blame schools.

This is the thing that drives me to Frank Grimes levels of absolute disbelief about Ontario voters continuing support of the Ford government: That it's the best equipped to manage the public purse.

In this case, Ford's cronies have set piles of money on fire.
"New Democrat Leader Marit Stiles called the auditor's findings "absolutely bonkers." "This is an agency that is run by the premier's former chief of staff who is overseeing a contract that is literally setting hundreds of millions of dollars on fire," she said. "

Data centres are energy hungry but what if we could use their waste heat to heat our homes?

That's exactly what happens in places like Finland: Cities are tapping the vast amounts of waste heat generated by data centres, and feeding it into district-heating networks.

I'm happy to talk about e-bike regulation as long as folks agree that the *most urgent* problem is cars.
Love how much energy we all spend circle jerking over classes of ebikes while car culture runs around with metrics of multiple tons, hundreds of horsepower, and top speeds only limited in triple digits.

I’m 56 years old, and for my whole life we’ve been asking some version of the question “what would WE, our generation, have done to stop the Nazis, either in Germany as they were rising, or around the world to fight for freedom.

Now we’re answering the question in real time. Each of us & all of us.
December 2, 2025 at 8:58 PM
And so far, our answers suck.
We’re also answering the question “could we band together to collectively fight worse global pandemics?”

And we’re answering “could we choose to change our conveniences in order to protect the livability of the planet for our own children, & every generation after them?”

We’re answering right now.
