This is an actual post from the actual embarrassment who is the actual Secretary of Defense.
Before you ask, yes apparently this is real. He must be taking comedy lessons and substances from Elon.

Tomorrow Hegseth will likely claim he has no idea who the actual Secretary of Defense is, and Trump will probably try to say it’s Biden.

Also, a good reminder that, while badly damaged, rule of law norms still keep popping up to bite the would-be autocrats, contrary to what doomers keep saying.

Basically Trump’s defense on the double strike boat murder is that it didn’t happen, but if it did it was all Hegseth.

Translation: Pete may well go down for this. But I’m not going with him.
Reporter: If there were a second strike that killed wounded people, would that be legal?

Trump: I don’t know that happened and Pete said he did not even know what people were talking about. I wouldn’t have wanted a second strike. The first strike was very lethal. It was fine.

In the last week, Donald Trump has called for the murder of Congressional Democrats and threatened to unilaterally declare an invasion of Venezuela.

If Congressional Republicans followed the Constitution, both of these would be removable offenses. But, they’re loyal to Trump, not the constitution.

The president is a political cartoon of corruption come to life, a gaudy grifter who is selling off pardons and lining his pockets, building a golden ballroom and protecting his fellow sex predator elites, all the while regular Americans are suffering and struggling to make ends meet.

Would the Supreme Court rule that taking a bribe for a pardon was an "official act" by the president and immune from prosecution? I'm serious. If Trump announced he was selling pardons for $1M a pop, could anyone do anything about it, short of impeachment? (Which carries no prison sentence.)

They’re simultaneously arguing that soldiers have to follow all orders from the president, legal or not, but they get to ignore orders from a federal judge if they feel they’re not legal.

It will take America *decades*—not merely years—to recover from what these robber barons did to us.

They destroyed our government, caused untold pain to the average American directly and indirectly, and used our money as their piggy bank.

And all of it *should* have been criminal.
