Importantly, this wouldn't have passed without Dem support. There was enough of a split within Republican ranks that if Dems had voted against the bill it would've been doa. Giving Trump a blank check to warmonger *and* passing an anti-trans measure was a choice.

The Times yesterday, on how trans kids, denied the healthcare they need, are buying black market hormones.

This is the same university that rescinded a res life job offer to me when I was a grad student after they found out I was gay and partnered.
Northwestern University offered bland reassurance to trans students and faculty after signing a deal with the Trump administration that sacrificed them for restored funding.
