Hey it sounds like he's been reading the Magnificat
James Talarico: Why do we have a trillionaire when veterans are sleeping on the streets? I’m all for success, but this is not success. This is hoarding. The reason poverty still exists in the wealthiest country in history is not because we can’t feed the poor. It’s because we can’t satisfy the rich

Add to this that HSI just filed a declaration in our case challenging these policies saying they can’t trust REAL IDs as proof of status.

So showing your papers isn’t even enough to end the stop.

It's not just social media. Looks like visitors to the US from Europe and other countries that are part of the visa waiver program will have to submit an enormous amount of data about themselves and their families, including DNA, if proposed new rules are accepted

Forcing women out of the job market and back into the home. Sounds like a win-win from a certain conservative perspective.
The impact of ICE arrests is extending into America's child care system: It's reducing the number of immigrant child care workers available — and prompting U.S. mothers with young children to leave their jobs as they scramble for stable care. 19thnews.org/2025/12/ice-...
ICE arrests are forcing American moms to leave their jobs
A new analysis shows that increased immigration enforcement is reducing labor in the child care workforce. The ripple effect is impacting mothers with young children.

WE KNOW
Data shows there’s less snowfall in the last half decade than there used to be — particularly in the central and eastern U.S.

See how snowfall is changing across the country and find out if this winter will be snowy for you here:
Column | How snowy could it be where you live this winter? Look up your area.
Swaths of central and eastern states have received much less snow than average over the past five winters – a trend that may continue this season.

I wrote for Baptist News Global about book bans as a religious freedom issue. I would like for my friends of faith to reconsider the freedom to read as an issue of religious freedom. The right to read is inseparable from our larger fight for religious freedom in this country.

These are the questions I need answers to
Jeopardy tonight had Ron, identical twin brother of a former champ named Ray. @kenjennings.bsky.social asked how we know for sure it's not Ray playing again under a fake name. Ron pointed out Ray in the audience. But how do we know the brothers haven't pulled a Parent Trap?

Do regular MAGA folk actually believe he controls the weather? This is a serious question. Why'd he let hurricanes hit during his first term? Did he get new powers???
Kristi Noem: "Sir, you made it through hurricane season without a hurricane. You kept the hurricanes away. We appreciate that."

A reminder for those who are not aware: "remigration" is the process of deporting all non-white people from a country. It includes citizens and is, by definition, ethnic cleansing.

And to be clear: this is not fake. I just screenshot it myself.

The president is such a bumbling idiot he thinks tweeting out the word "hereby" a couple times on his white supremacist social media site is the same thing as making an actual law.

The only story here is the one about a mentally diminished, increasingly erratic president who thinks he's a king.
It should go without saying, but the president has no authority to do this, and anyone reporting the story needs to say as such.

No matter what you eat for the holidays, please never:

- comment on how much someone is eating
- comment on how little someone is eating
- comment on someone eating

This can be a major trigger for people with eating disorders. Plus it’s none of your business. Thanks!

This young girl was not “left vulnerable to exploitation.” She was in fact sexually exploited.
A teenager in Florida with a homeless parent wanted money for braces and ended up having sex for money with powerful men, setting off a chain of events that would have a dramatic impact on her life and help upend the political career of Representative Matt Gaetz. nyti.ms/49PSkL9

you could fact check this — there aren’t 30 million illegal immigrants and there is no evidence that the presence of an immigrant in say houston has any impact on housing in madison, wisconsin — or you could note straightforwardly that this is just nazi rhetoric
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

One of the striking things in Epstein's emails is how fucking inarticulate he is, and how *every other billionaire is just as bad at communicating*.

They're the exact textual equivalents of any interview with Altman or Musk or Thiel etc just fucking babbling incoherent word salad.
