A central part of the NSDAP policy of Gleichschaltung in the period 1933-38 entailed pressuring employers to fire Jews, Roma, Gays and persons deemed politically undesirable (politisch unerwünscht) due to their opposition to the NSDAP.

As long as the Dems continue to siphon a non 0 percentage of the left and left support, prevent actual opposition parties from forming, and enable the right wing agenda the donors will keep donating because they are fulfilling their purpose. You aren’t going to convince them to be effective

This conclusion in particular really just made me wonder if I have been drinking Everclear all day without knowing it.

If you're worried that every college activist is a terrorist, that signals a much deeper issue that likely has nothing to do with college activists.

One of the wildest things is that they co-opted the term AI when it doesn't remotely apply just to cash in on the public imagination (mostly from those writers!) and yeah...

They have now made the entire concept radioactive, when they never even made fucking AI to begin with.
"I don't understand why so many writers hate AI."

Writers are the reason you love AI. If you didn't get excited about AI through science fiction, the people who did the work that got you excited got there through science fiction.

We were on board before you. You fucked it up past redemption.

The answer is “the humanities” because it’s an interdisciplinary problem.
Serious question. Which field is most intellectually prepared to study Trump and MAGA?

The IRS launched its own tax filing program that allowed taxpayers to file taxes for free.

Tax prep companies like Intuit lobbied for years to stop the IRS from doing this.

Intuit donated $1 million to Trump’s inauguration. Now Trump is gutting the program.

Hello?

A bit back I said you should maybe reconsider those plans.

I would like to amend my prior statement.

Cancel them. Cancel them now. We cannot keep you safe from our own government. Take your holiday in Spain or something.
