Even in Corbett v Corbett, Ormrod LJ used 'she' for post-transition. Somehow, the judiciary was able to use our pronouns for decades without it creating any supposed appearance of bias, but now it routinely degenders and misgenders us. It's such transparent bigotry and/or cowardice.

I don’t know man lot of people have been capriciously banned or suspended for not violating the ToS, it’s clearly less about that and more about a personal point of pride and not letting your user base win. Kinda hard to read it any other way.
There's the substance of the signal issue, and then there's the pattern of behavior that jay was responding to -- the constant, _constant_ off topic responses that make this tedious.

Speaking ill of the dead includes misrepresenting them. If you’re going to claim we must respect the dead, respect them enough to tell the truth about them, however horrible that truth must be.

I don't like doing this. It feels fucked up to constantly point out the negative dimensions of someone who just died in a horrific, worrying way. But I would like the media to tell basic truths about this person and his impact on public life rather than resorting to euphemism and outright lies!

most cis people can’t comprehend why “not being transphobic” isn’t good enough for us these days. Not actively hating us is not the same as allyship and in a perpetually declining status quo of trans rights, you need to actively stand up to matter at all in the fight. Being nice is no use to us

I think today is a great day to mention that the only things stopping the UK parliament from abolishing elections are:
1. Parliament Act 1911
2. ECHR and HRA 1998.
3. The House of Lords who can delay legislation a few times.
4. The Monarchy who can theoretically refuse royal assent.
