help us all take back control of the narrative surrounding our lives by first and foremost working to disempower those who have stolen it to enrich themselves paid for by the suffering and deaths of our siblings.

Please stop fucking sharing bigoted shit onto my feed every god damn day lmao.

Managed to obliviously sit across from somebody reading Dorley Hall on the train to Manchester today. I regret being too awkwardly polite to say anything, because what are the chances of that??

This is honestly a fascinating read, because it contains a full account of the judge taking the barrister into his office and making him print out all of his citations and point out the relevant paragraphs. Which obviously he couldn't do, because half of them didn't even exist.
This latest "barrister meets AI" disaster is something all stage 1 law students should read. It is vital about the key skill of case reading - you mustn't use AI to substitute for the skill of being able to find cases and find key content in cases:

In the early 2010s, I worried that R v McNally would eventually lead to trans people being prosecuted for sexual assault based on the idea that our presentation is inherently 'deceptive'. I let myself be convinced otherwise by people that had criminal law expertise. I think I was wrong to listen

I had to explain Tony Blair's obsession with ID cards to a 22 year old today and I've never felt more ancient.

I'm jealous that they have no memory of him as well

Struggling to do housework through sobbing for the last 15 minutes because I thought about how much I love my partner. I know it's twee but I still haven't adapted to it after 8 years and I'm happy that I never will

Stick with your queer community; we've been through this shit, we know how to cope, we'll teach you
It’s going to break your heart how many people you know, love, and respect will turn out to be cowards. Prepare yourself as best you can. You are not alone, but you are your own center. Be a strong center.

Unlike a lot of people, I don't think the Greens should accept any attempt at defection from Sultana.

The YP factionalism and sexism is awful (and predictable) but everyone involved has consistently been incompetent, egotistical, tactically useless, and Labour-brained. Bluntly, she's a liability

Absolutely astounded to hear that the party that hired known transphobes is "being run as a “sexist boys’ club”."

Send your £55 to trans women instead.

You'll see better results in political development and organising tbh.

How many of the MPs insisting that we need to 'police streets, not tweets' would claim that being told to 'touch grass' is a fully formed plot to kill and bury them?

The prize was partly founded by somebody that signed a letter to criticise Stonewall for being trans-inclusive and "undermining women’s sex-based rights" in 2018, so I can see how these ideas might've persisted.

Ran upstairs in a panic because my partner messaged that she "can't see"... it was tears in her eyes from "thinking about how cute" I am to her. Dork.
