The second Biscuit Makers' Union poster follows the workers of biscuit making from "from field to tummy." This journey is depicted literally in the poster: starting with farm fields, through harvest, and production. A closer look at the bottom reveals a fleet of trucks ready to deliver biscuits...

Somebody's taken out an entire chapter of your book?

Problematic page gap.
Wizard keeps throwing fireballs like confetti every combat while sorcerer keeps spending sorcery points trying to perfect subtle spells?

Problematic mage gap.

every author in the class action, please file the claim.
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.
Authors celebrate “historic” settlement coming soon in Anthropic class action
Advocates fear such settlements will “financially ruin” the AI industry.

One of the most valuable pieces of advice an early mentor gave me was, "Support people who speak out."
People who have the character to be brave now were brave earlier during earlier tests of character.

And aren't in positions of power, because that sort of bravery is seen as disqualifying from power.

I Am Lucifer, the Devil, AMA

"Which of your many accomplishments are you most proud of?"

The idea that once your body is done growing, so is your mind.

"Wait, when is our minds done growing?"

You were never meant to be done growing, learning, examining. But you could be persuaded to give it up.

Drawing cats in hats and mittens reminded me of this that I drew a while ago.
Someone gave us some cat socks (as in socks for cats) for Christmas one year and I don't think we managed to get get a single one on a cat 😂

Caught up with a friend on Sunday afternoon, and on the way out he asked if I'd like some monitors.
Sure, I say; Expecting something small, outdated or random.
Imagine my eyes when I saw the two 34" monstrosities he pulled out. They went full width 21:9!
and a pair of generic 24" monitors.

Why are computer logins MFA enabled, but phone logins are not?
Today's gripe brought to you by all my bank's web sites, which are now genuinely frustrating to login to on a computer.

It’s really hard to describe to people who are not artists how survival mode does *not* inspire creativity, as the myth would have us believe. It suppresses creativity as you try to limit every possible risk – and the opportunities that come with them.
It turns out building habits and stuff actually requires not being in survival mode, who knew?!
(Yeah yeah I did)
