You should go read my newsletter at www.leahreich.com

My newsletter today is about algorithms, culture, and celebrity beef. It's about how we're all complicit in this current festering cultural moment of ours.

It features one of my spiciest theories ever that I do not want to spoil. So please click and read.

Every time I open Bluesky there are so many posts from people fighting about Bluesky and what it should or shouldn't be, plus who should and shouldn't be banned. Guys.

Stop thinking about the problem in terms of the existing solutions. BE SMARTER. Here, read this.

That @brianphillips.bsky.social guy once called @girinathan.bsky.social "the best tennis writer in America" and his four paragraphs here on the Roland-Garros final prove the point. Reading them made me want to watch the entire 5 hours and 29 minute match all over again!

I’m in the waiting room at the cardiologist’s office, and an old man is watching a sports game on his phone with no headphones. Sir my blood pressure is already an issue, that’s why I’m here

Yesterday I sent out my last newsletter of 2025. I think everyone deserves a break, so I'm giving myself one for the next two weeks. But please read this one anyway, it's a bit of a look back plus look forward.

Can we boost her books more? Please help, it would be such a gift.

Hello friends. I need to ask you a big favor:

If you have an e-reader, please buy this book, written by my mom. It will cost $0.99 and it will boost her visibility. This is the first book she ever wrote (a long time ago), an epistolary novel about an ER (TW: various forms of trauma)

Thank god Yashar is covering Candace Owens radicalizing a massive "normal mom" audience against Jews, because I don't think anyone else is (that I've seen)
1. Candace Owens’s short video after her meeting with Erika Kirk has been viewed over 22 million times on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

Her heavily radicalized audience is very concerned that, during the meeting, she was threatened, blackmailed, or bribed into silence.

Man this Rob Reiner news really sucks. Is there anyone who didn't love his movies? Is there anyone who can't quote scenes from one of his movies by heart? At least one, if not more?

In addition to the awful misinformation campaign about the shooter, there are also many conspiracy theories going around, such as: "this was not a Jewish event but a Jewish-supremacy event" and/or "Israel is behind this attack in order to allow Jews to maintain their victimhood"
Encountering a misinformation campaign in real time. The bystander who tackled the gunman at Bondi was identified as Ahmed el Ahmed (link below). But in almost every tweet I saw, there are people claiming the real person is "Edward Crabtree," referencing a website called "The Daily."
Hero bystander who tackled gunman in incredible footage identified
In the aftermath of the devastation at Bondi, a deluge of footage poured onto social media. One video of an act of incredible bravery stood out.
