James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Shaheen: "We've heard from a number of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they're willing to come to the table, they're willing to work with us once the govt is open to get this done. We've heard the same thing from the White House. So now we'll see if they're really gonna work w/us"

My employer does a couple rounds of education a year. February is always ethics and HR stuff.

That was *months* late this year. And about half as long as usual.
i dont think there’s ever been a point where corporate america has had a sincere sense of morality but it is probably a sign of the times that the culture at most major firms does not even pretend to encourage ethical behavior anymore. the transformation is really stark in tech.
i honestly do not know what major company in america isnt involved in some ghastly shit at this point? i just would not *do* the ghastly shit yourself.

I'm not saying anybody would *hear* about it if I became extremely rich, but the Salted Caramel Toasted Coconut Kit-Kats would be in a store near you
If I was really rich, I would not complain about mayors refusing to meet with me; I would just buy a lot of Lego sets and spend extended periods in Tokyo, Italy, and France

Catholicism is very particular about the hereafter. Even the best among us are not guaranteed to get into Heaven. Nobody knows where we will end up after Purgatory. The best we can do is pray.

Sometimes you have an educated guess, though.

It's the difference between obscuring reality and fabricating it.
I've been trying to put my finger on why ICE/DHS lies feel so much more outrageous than normal cop lies, and I think it's because they don't lie like cops, they lie like aggressively stupid criminals

That man accused Cuomo of covering up for Jeffrey Epstein looking like the Cheshire Cat the entire time. It would have been less scary if he had pulled a gun on the camera.
one thing that other candidates need to learn from mamdani is how to deliver the most cold blooded attacks on an opponent with a smile on your face

Schumer had a chance to repudiate the gutter racism and Islamophobia of Cuomo's campaign and he just fucking didn't. And that is disqualifying. He should be ashamed and we the voters should make sure he feels that shame.
Reporter: Today is election day in New York City. Did you vote for Mamdani or Cuomo?

Schumer: Look, I voted. And I look forward to working with the next mayor to help New York City.

No. There is one side quest that makes mention of it but it helpfully recaps the first game for you to contextualize it.
I haven't played an Ubisoft game in ages for this reason given my extremely limited gaming time so I haven't played either Tsushima or Yotei

but man these games do look like My Shit from the visuals

do I need to play Tsushima first?
