I’ve been thinking about how hard the founding fathers cooked with the Third Amendment.

Seems like so many politicians have no idea what they're supposed to be doing or what their job really is. Why are there no qualifiers for it? Bizarre that you can seemingly become a successful politician just by being an unsuccessful one for long enough.

I love NJ and Phil Murphy has been mostly good, we're a sanctuary state. But this post is so outrageously tone deaf (and dumb) as to feel like a dereliction of duty

I will also add that people in Congress are not volunteers. They are being paid. They have health insurance. They have retirement. They have ONE JOB—to serve their constituents. And if they cannot figure out how to push back politically they don't deserve to be in office.
