It’s smart for Trump to be rolled by Bibi. It makes everyone forget that he was rolled by Putin.

If I were a Senate Democrat and Trump had just started an immoral and unconstitutional war, I would not vote to advance his Asst Sec of Defense.

But these 10 just did:

Gallego
Hassan
Kaine
Kelly
King
Reed
Rosen
Slotkin
Warnock

This decision is bad enough on the merits. But it also gives the government relief in a case in which it defied the district court at least *twice.* That’s quite a message to send to the government with respect to the costs of its litigation behavior in other cases—or the complete lack thereof.

Today the GOP justices on the Supreme Court endorsed migrants being sold into slavery.

They'll claim otherwise, but that's the reality — today's decision permits Trump to send people from countries around the world to any global hellhole that accepts a U.S. financial incentive.

Curious what intelligence Germany has that is leading it to this conclusion:

'...“We are very certain, and we have intelligence evidence for this, that Ukraine is just a step on the path to the West,” [BND chief] Kahl told the Table Today podcast on June 9...'

I cannot express this enough: If and when the tide turns away from fascism, you cannot mistake a ceasefire for peace. They never, ever want peace. You must persecute those responsible to the ends of the earth. You must make future generations fear a repeat of their fate.

JFC. Even after what the Trump regime has done to LA, the state of California, both Schiff & Padilla (!!) decided to vote with Republicans to give Trump a massive gift on crypto.

Same goes for Gillibrand and NY.

Also shame on Booker, Kim & Warnock.

A disgraceful list - especially this week.

I'm trying to imagine a Democratic president saying openly and proudly that he would be sending federal agents to target the 'Republican Power Center' in Texas, Florida, and Tennessee. We would be in the midst of a civil war before he'd finished saying those words.
Trump declares war on cities

“We must expand efforts to detain & deport Illegal Aliens in America’s largest Cities, such as LA, Chicago, & NY, where Millions of Illegal Aliens reside. These, & other Cities, are core of the Dem Power Center, where they use Illegal Aliens to expand their Voter Base”

Yet another reminder that cutting Medicaid is deeply unpopular across the ideological spectrum. Just 10% of Americans (just 18% of Republicans) in the latest Quinnipiac poll want to see Medicaid funding decrease. poll.qu.edu/poll-release...

They will invent the pretext unless we’re so thoroughly supine they don’t need to, which leads to the same outcome.
A reason im not moved by the “don’t give the trump administration the pretext they’re looking for” is that we would not dare say that about any anti-authoritarian protest movement in literally any other country
