Senior MPs including Kemi Badenoch, Robert Jenrick and Darren Jones are claiming tens of thousands of pounds a year in taxpayer-funded rent expenses while either calling for or implementing benefit cuts on the poorest

Revealed: MPs rack up huge rent expenses while pushing through cuts to benefits
MPs are allowed to rent a second home, but while they are simultaneously cutting benefits for the vulnerable, the cost feels hard to swallow.

Ending the two-child limit is welcome — but 1 in 10 children will still miss out because the overall benefit cap remains.

We cannot ignore this cap keeps families in poverty while multimillionaires and billionaires escape meaningful taxation.

This isn’t a serious response. The no of people they’ve resettled under the Mandate scheme in last yr is smaller than a 5 a side team.

Last week I checked in on a friend, someone who I thought would be one of the very last immigrants (who have any other options) to leave Germany, only to find that they and their family are already in the process of leaving. Their explicit reason: the rise of fascism. Very, very disturbing times.

The wife of a Tory MP. No one posts something like that by mistake. Strip away the constraints of what’s societally acceptable, and you see what’s really underneath. This is the exact kind of hatred that allowed the Nazis to exterminate 6 million Jews and other ‘unacceptable’ minorities.
