It just takes a minute to email ABC's City Councillors.

Ask them to reject their backroom handlers, show some courage, and oppose Ken Sim's Cuts.

Also there's an election next year. Now's a great time to join the Coalition of Progressive Electors.

Ken Sim and ABC are facing huge opposition to their opaque, undemocratic, and detailless budget that will bring huge cuts to city staff, services, and programs.

It only takes 2 minutes to add your voice.

Those claiming Dems should retreat on racial justice aren't hard-headed realists, they're pushing against the electoral tide rather than leaning into it. The story of Gen Z isn't about racist backlash or red-pilled young men. It's the most racially progressive generation in American history. 🧵

This is insane, but step back. The idea of An Insurance Industry taking out a big healthy chunk of every medical $ spent, whether thru the ACA, employers, etc. is even more insane. How many centuries til the US (if it exists) does what the rest of the world does & guarantee it to all?

Gobsmacked to hear someone saying that if we're also eager to slam Summers and Clinton, we're doing the work of Trump. To paraphrase Lindsay Graham, "I guess i'm in the non-child rape wing of the party."

It isn’t that so many of the world’s most powerful men happen to be sexual sadists. It is that at a certain level of power, what obscenity is left but to violate the most vulnerable? Wealth shifts the baseline of morality until what is possible is acceptable. With enough money, anything is possible.

Once the Epstein Files are released, we might discover the guy found liable for sexual assault by a jury, the guy who boasted to Howard Stern about his ability to gawk at semi-nude teenage girls, the guy who boasted to Billy Bush about his ability to commit sexual assault, is some kind of creep.

Not like Carney didn't just cut a whole bunch taxes for the wealthy or anything.
