Nobody in the United States has been asked to “apologize for being white,” as VPOTUS Vance claimed in yesterday’s “America-fest” speech.

Acknowledging historical injustice and its ongoing impacts only requires the courage to speak the truth.

This is why I say that underneath the bluster of […]

One of the things I see people do when they make Japanese curry from the roux cubes is that they don’t add extra things to it. Out of the box, it’s a little bland (even if you get the spiciest). You have to add things to it.

Sauté onions, carrots, celery. Add roux cubes (I like 1 large cube per […]

Except today on Twitter, a White House deputy press secretary shared that same photo, with the children's faces blacked out, and claimed it […]

Bannon’s like, “What can I say to make people forget that I knowingly coached a sexual predator to help him repair his image?”
Steve Bannon reportedly said: 'You raised a kid that slit your throat!' about the late Rob Reiner.

A reminder that not a single prominent Democrat or liberal pundit said anything even vaguely akin to this when Charlie Kirk was murdered.

Oh the hypocrisy.
Turning Point crowd boos Rob Reiner: 'You raised a kid that slit your throat!'

I encourage people posting to stay mindful of the fact that countless real little girls and young women were horribly victimized by the Epstein network—and there are also MANY other survivors reading what is written here.

Yes, it’s illegal. Like changing it to Department of War, like ten thousand other things. Part of the Trump strategy is to break the law and convey “the rule of law is weak and feminine and laughable and should be overridden by Our Guy.” Trump is fundamentally anti-law.

On the most recent Serious Trouble I remarked that asking whether someone has standing is increasingly like asking whether an elf can wield an axe in Dungeons & Dragons: it’s an arbitrary fantasy-based question determined by the 6-3 DM, who does whatever amuses him.
Let's figure out who has standing.

Very happy to introduce a new tool, BookReconciler!

You can take spreadsheets with book data and add subject headings, descriptions, ISBNs, HathiTrust IDs, & more. You can also cluster editions & variations of the same "Work."
