When Rob Reiner was on his all-time epic run at the start of his career, he had an opportunity to read a script that was looking for a production partner, and he lost his mind for it. He decided Castle Rock had to have it, no matter what.

Three of my favorite emo records to come out past 5 or so years feel very lost to time. And it is a damn shame!

Somos - Prison on a Hill
I’m Glad It’s You - Every Sun, Every Moon
Barely Civil - I’ll Figure This Out

There’s $5 billion sitting in a SNAP contingency fund. It’s money that could keep families fed during a shutdown. USDA isn’t using those funds. And French Hill and his pals are doing nothing.

We’re paying taxes. They’re playing politics.

The result, kids go hungry while cash sits in a bank.

Came back to this for the first time since ‘22. What a great record. When I’m listening to a lot of new music, I
swing from brand new to very old reliables. And I neglect tunes I loved just three years ago. bignothin.bandcamp.com/album/dog-ho...

Look at the drastic cuts President Trump asked Congress to throw at the CDC.

He wanted zeroing out of all funding for chronic diseases, birth defects/developmental disorders, and injury prevention, and occupational health and a 65% reduction for environmental health at CDC...

The people who are penalized by a government shutdown:
1. Federal employees excepted from furloughs who work w/out pay
2. New applicants for federal benefits
3. Recipients of WIC, SNAP, Head Start
4. Veterans requiring anything besides health benefits

The poor, elderly & disabled suffer most.
Everyone & I do mean everyone in America: Shut the government down

A growing number of us every day: Yeah lol forever

Most Americans: Shut up commies

Leadership Democrats: We will never shut this government down, our name plaques & desks that fash literally shit on are all we have in this life

This also counts as political violence.
After her hearing at 26 Federal Plaza, a woman was detained and escorted toward the stairwell. Her husband, confused and in shock, was guided toward the exit. Minutes later, he broke down in the elevator. They entered together, but he left alone. This happens here daily. #ICE
