French Hill’s silence is not neutrality! And it’s in his job description to hold the administration accountable.

The extra sad part is that none of what this administration is doing (and Congress is ignoring) makes life safer or more affordable for Arkansans.
WHERE'S FRENCH? Arkansas 2nd District congressional candidate Chris Jones on Substack, about the latest ICE murder in Minneapolis & the thunderous silence from the Republican now sitting in that seat: "French Hill's silence is not neutrality."

I’ve reached out to both Gov. Walz and Sen. Klobuchar following the latest shooting involving federal agents in Minnesota.

Marylanders have witnessed this cruelty in our own communities – during a school drop-off in Salisbury and in Glen Burnie on Christmas Eve. These are not isolated incidents.

It’s freezing cold outside with sleet/snow covering everything.

The hard truth: too many of our neighbors are without shelter and some will die.

What’s heartbreaking is knowing that this crisis is a policy choice.

We need different leaders who will make different choices.

Please stay safe this weekend.

Here are warming shelters and emergency resources across Central Arkansas. Share this with anyone who may need it.

Jerrilyn and I are in prayer with Congressman Womack, his family, and all who love Terri Womack during this difficult time. Wishing them God's peace and comfort as they mourn her passing. Moments like these remind us of the fragility of life and the importance of holding our loved ones close.

Today, as we celebrate this Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, let us be moved by the full measure of Dr. King’s words. Because today, the feel good portions will get quoted by those who no longer even pretend to act right.

Let’s remember, “Do Right” time is Now!

French Hill could very well lose his upcoming election and he knows it. He's got a fantastic opponent, @jonesforar.bsky.social

“.. maybe we should lose the majority so the WH and leadership stop making stupid decisions,” a GOP lawmaker said in a text message Monday to NBC News. “Our leadership and admin just keep doubling down on stupid.”

On CNN last night, I was asked about Trump saying he should've seized voting machines after losing in 2020.

In Arkansas, we love Razorback sports, and we understand something simple: if you lose, you respect the final score.

When politics starts dictating monetary policy, working families pay the price. The Federal Reserve must remain independent.

Today in Minneapolis, a young woman was killed by an ICE agent. Her life was taken, a family is grieving, and a community is shaken. We must choose community over chaos, demand accountability, and full transparency. Violence is never the answer.

A reminder of what January 6 really represents and why accountability still matters.

Arkansans deserve representatives who defend democracy and deliver results, not politicians who stay silent when it counts.
January 7, 2026 at 12:39 AM
Today Arkansans have an opportunity for peaceful civic action. If you live in a district holding a special election, polls are open until 7:30. Check your polling place, make a plan, and cast your ballot. Then help others do the same.

Show up. Make it count.

Trump is playing games with our military to protect big oil, waste tax payer dollars, and risk national security.

But it’s French Hill’s silence that truly is not helping Arkansans.

Why won’t French call for a debate on War Powers?
January 3, 2026 at 5:45 PM
War in Venezuela and now “we are going to run the country” according to Trump.

Where is Congress?

French Hill is a sitting Congressman, and is silent.

January always brings noise. Predictions. Hot takes. Panic disguised as urgency.

I am starting 2026 the same way I lead: grounded, clear, and focused on what actually improves people’s lives.

Arkansas does not need louder politics. It needs steadier leadership.

Habari Gani and happy Kwanzaa!

Today’s principle is Imani (Faith).

Faith is believing in God and in people. In their decency, their resilience, and their willingness to do the right thing when given the chance.

Habari Gani and happy Kwanzaa!

Today’s principle is Kuumba (Creativity).

The challenges families face will not be solved with tired talking points. Creativity means practical, new ideas rooted in real experience that expand opportunity and leave the next generation better off.

Habari Gani and happy Kwanzaa!

Today’s principle is Nia (Purpose).

Public service should be about who you are helping, not who you are impressing. Purpose means asking whether our choices make life better for Arkansas families.

Habari Gani and happy Kwanzaa!

Today’s principle is Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics).

Working people should be able to get ahead without being squeezed by hidden fees, rigged rules, or corporate loopholes. An economy works best when effort is rewarded and families can make ends meet with dignity.

Habari Gani “What’s Happening?”

Ujima “Collective Work and Responsibility”

Ujima (Day 3) reminds us that strong communities are built when people step up and do the work.

As the third candle is lit, may we reflect on shared responsibility, service, and the power of working together.

Habari Gani and happy Kwanzaa!

Today’s principle is Kujichagulia (Self-Determination).

People deserve a real say in their own futures, not decisions made for them by powerful interests in Washington. Self-determination means having the freedom to build a life on your own terms.
