In the Cronkite era, journalists didn’t really need to think about this bc it was nearly impossible for people to opt out of political info.
Now they can do so with the click of a button. That’s the irony of the information age.

ya something i always want to clarify about low-info voters is that they aren't *stupid* in general. one of my close friends who is like this has a hard science phD! They just don't pay attention to the news and live their life without thinking about it. Even easier to do now that it used to be

I love Kamala, but we need a big vibrant primary in 2028. It’ll make the eventual nominee sharper, develop a new generation of Democratic talent, and lead to innovation across the party. The two times we lost to Trump, we didn’t have real primaries. We can’t make that mistake again.
