This is not exactly helping their cause. They continue to treat that poor woman as the aggressor, instead of as a potential victim escalating because no on was paying attention to her. Charges in the other case were only dropped last week and only because McSkimming declined to testify.

Along with all of the sexual abuse and cover-up stuff, one thing that's fucking clear at NZ Police, is that there's 100% an expectation of professional retribution against junior staff by senior leadership if they do something they don't personally like.

The idea that there's a "deference to youth" is almost funny. Almost the entirety of UK politics centres around catering to boomer sensibilities.

Recently found out a friend has been lying about masking. Constantly guilting me about how much they miss me, pressing to hang out indoors, swearing they’re safe. Sheepishly now telling me they knowingly came into my home two days after COVID exposure. I don’t know if I’ve ever been this angry.
