When you publish a website that posts the names and photos of scholars who have written or said things you disagree with and encourage people to surveil and harass them, you are not, in fact, a “free speech” organization.
It is quite simply dishonest to describe TPUSA as a “free speech” organization and not even mention the “Professor Watchlist,” as NPR just did. Reporting on a crime does not entail adopting the victim’s views.

For all their obsessive poll-watching, a lot of Dems in DC don't seem to realize that the longstanding AIPAC tactic of conflating "Israeli government policies" with "Jewish people," so that criticism of the former is necessarily hate for the latter, no longer works among the Dem base.
A recent Quinnipiac poll found that 60% of Democrats sympathize more than Palestinians, while only 12% sympathize more with Israelis.

I understand the spirit behind this cover art, but it's bad... This is not a spirited fight between pugilists under some set of fair rules, it's an authoritarian attack. To suggest that it's some kind of boxing match is to buy the authoritarian's narrative.

It's infuriating how 99% of the coverage of this new war doesn't bother to mention that it is happening because we had an agreement to limit and monitor Iran's nuclear program, which even Trump's own aides said was working, and he blew it up because it was negotiated under Obama.
