The problem with being an edgelord is that it desensitizes you to human suffering to the point where you can think it’s a good thing to end USAID, drastically cut government support for healthcare and detain and deport people without due process.

There's a strange tendency in center-left discourse to treat Zohran's focus on cost-of-living as the *only* reason he's succeeding. Yes, it's critical. But that overlooks the other big thing he's doing: Relentlessly highlighting Trump's authoritarian abuses.

The problem with most machine-based random number generators is that they’re not TRULY random, so if you need genuine randomness it is sometimes necessary to link your code to an external random process like a physical noise source or the current rate of US tariffs on a given country.
