If you are okay with this, if you think this is justified, if you think people living on the street have brought this upon themselves, if you think this is good leadership, you may be able to fool yourself that you care about others but you don’t fool me

I started 2025 with the goal of getting 3K subscribers to the Celtics Chronicle newsletter.

Not getting there. And that's totally fine, you set high goals, and adjust if you don't reach them.

With 4 months left, I'm still aiming for 2K subscribers.

A story that got less attention was the incredibly cynical primary of my amazing Councilwoman—the first Muslim woman ever elected to the NYC Council—by a billionaire, corporate-backed candidate also lobbing gross accusations of antisemitism. Anyway, the challenger got trounced. Hell yea.
Thank you, Brooklyn! Getting to represent the neighborhoods that raised me is the greatest privilege of my life.

“I sit at my hotel at night, I think of something that’s funny, then I go get a pen and I write it down. Or if the pen is too far away, I have to convince myself that what I thought of ain’t funny.”
Everyone has one Mitch Hedberg joke stashed in their brain like a squirrel to sustain them whenever they need to feel joy for 30 seconds and mine is “they say the recipe for Sprite is Lemon and Lime but I tried to make it at home, there’s more to it than that”

Pete Hegseth isn’t DEI. Daniel Penny isn’t DEI. That’s not what DEI is.

They’re just grossly unqualified for their jobs and add no value that any replacement legacy job applicant wouldn’t bring.

So stop saying “it’s DEI” like it’s a clever commentary on the situation. It’s not.

There appear to be at least three separately operating heel factions breaking things within the government in wholly different ways right now. There's the Miller-headed immigration one, the DOGE/Elon one, and a Project 2025 OMB one. This dynamic hasn't showed up in mainstream reporting at all.
