I for one think the whole incel "dating coach" influencer thing is *terrible* for boys and men. We should absolutely make sure they hear that women are people, that they should be desired for themselves and not their paycheck, and that it's okay and normal to look for or need support.
This is the second story in three days The Times has carried arguing against misogyny lessons in schools, which it describes as "some weird feminist attack on male children".

If a sausage is a "cylindrical thing containing meat" what does this mean for the square sausage? That's what comes off Brexit, no one is asking the Scots about these things.

Yes. I mind. It can wait. You do not have to fill every half hour slot with meetings. Honestly.
Well done to past me, who had the foresight to block out all of today (my last day befofe Xmas break) with a fake all day meeting.

It has fooled the tricksy people who like to prey on empty calendars.

Oh my god there's totally a whole dystopian novel in the idea about the Tech Bro emperor and his immortality subscription service.
Like a modern day Emperor's New Clothes.
5. To monopolize the immortality market (which I guess you can only monopolize once? Note to self, make immortality a subscription service).

6. A media empire that I can regift to my adult son, he needs to be useful if he’s going to be around forever.

It's generally a bad sign too. If we can't afford to rebuild are we just letting infrastructure collapse now? Sounds unsafe.

I can't find the thread anymore so I'll paraphrase but
People pushing AI in the arts dont understand that art is the process not the result
Writing is about the words and the meaning and how they slot together. Painting is about colour and texture and the physicality of the paintbrush on paper

An early flu season, a new variant and poor takeup of vaccines leave the already vulnerable health service in a dangerous position, says Prof Devi Sridhar, chair of global public health at the University of Edinburgh

I was the three wise men's second assistant. The assistants were packing for the journey and I got to say "I've got enough to worry about with a wife and five boys to look out for."
In fairness they had to make the parts stretch across four classes 😂
So - did you take part in a nativity play at school and if so, what part did you play?

I got the part of the frankincense guy - I was the only child in the class who could pronounce the word ...!
Nativity plays have been a much-loved part of the school year in infant and junior schools across the UK for many years. These performances brought the Christmas story to life with a mix of earnestness and unintentional comedy. Classrooms buzzed with excitement as tea towels and

Ah, they broke Diablo 4. Not enormously happy with the changes they made to this season at all. Massive changes to stats, healing, bosses. Feels like I don't know how to play it any more.
Question is will I keep trying or move on to some other game? Only the special interest fairy knows...

Not easy to get to sleep tonight - have burnt the bridge of whatever career I had left and really don’t feel that my opinions are so extreme that that should have been necessary
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.
