Yesterday, our Disabled Transit Coalition and the ACPD (as HSR staff noted) created the pressure and conditions to increase the Fare Assist Discount from 30% to 50% (back to the discount level of the previous paid pass program) effective 1 January 2026.

No one's pretending to be disabled in higher ed. For what, so they can get discriminated against & always have their competence called into question? Being mad in higher ed got me brutalized by the academy, that was what they called accommodations.

The US has been so dominated by authoritarian Christians pushing their religion via the state that people can’t conceive of someone in power not doing that, which is why the shariah law slander against Muslim politicians is so prevalent. I think American libs are susceptible to this too.
