ICE killed a Black man, Keith Porter, 7 days before Renee Good, and I hadn't heard about it until today. His vigils went unnoticed. His life came and gone and America forgot to blink.

Two Americas.

Once you understand that you're dealing with murderous liars, you stop entertaining what they say as possibly credible and legitimate. The fight against them is about stopping them from terrorizing and killing by any means, not winning debates about your reality versus theirs.

For the last few months, I kept a document where every time I saw reports of fed immigration agents shooting or pointing their gun at someone, I made a note. The list grew and grew. It now includes 4 deaths. Here is what I noticed keeping that list.

Before ICE Shooting, Immigration Agents Repeatedly Used Deadly Force
The killing of a Minneapolis woman is latest by ICE and Border Patrol officers in recent months. Others have been wounded or threatened with guns.

Always important to note that the reasons to be DEEPLY skeptical of initial police justifications for their violence or explanations for lethal encounters are REALLY WELL DOCUMENTED.

"Initial police accounts should not be blindly accepted" is an empirically-validated statement.
in the immediate aftermath, virtually every outlet—local and national—parroted dhs’s lie that silverio villegas gonzales drove at ice agents and dragged one with his car before they shot him.

we knew that wasn’t true because we talked to people who witnessed it.

It’s almost as if the US is purposefully set up this way to prevent mass dissent and organizing so those with power and wealth can continue to hoard it
There will never be a general strike in the US like France or Italy because millions are one unexcused absence from being fired and one firing away from being homeless. Nobody in Europe gets fired, evicted, or loses their health insurance if they strike, so don't blame people here for not doing it.

I don't understand why practically none of the bus stops on North Ave are sheltered. That street is a fucking wind tunnel.

You and your wife drop your 6-year-old off at school. You just moved here. You see ICE terrorizing your new neighbors. You film them, as is your legal right. Your wife complies with orders. She is then shot in the head. You still have to pick up your child later today.

This could be you.

Note: agents on scene here insist they have their own medics. None are seen attending to the victim.

They did this in Chicago, too—allegedly had assigned medics traveling with certain teams.

One of them we identified (Timothy Donahue) also pointed his gun at civilians.
fuck the huffington post

Don't forget that Trump demanded BLM protestors be shot in 2020 and was furious that the orders were ignored.
These fools are spiraling out of control.
They're cornered and setting fires to delay their regime's inevitable collapse.
ICE is just publicly executing whoever they want now

I'm sorry, but I just think it's very telling when we differentiate between ICE's killing of American citizens versus undocumented immigrants. And I'm seeing that a lot right now.
