The Department of Education is proposing a definition that could strip nurse practitioners and CRNAs of “professional degree” status.

Chiropractors keep it. Nurses risk losing it. And that change would fall hardest on women in healthcare.

This is political and it is sexist.

If you're part of an org bagging whistles, I will send them to you for free! 💕

Investigating a Possible Scammer in Journalism’s AI Era | The Local
A suspicious pitch from a freelancer led editor Nicholas Hune-Brown to dig into their past work. By the end, four publications, including The Guardian and Dwell, had removed articles from their sites.

judges, he said, are umpires merely applying rules; his job is "to call balls and strikes, and not to pitch or bat"

Important paper. So far most of the potential solutions I've seen mentioned (in-person surveys, high-quality/validated panels, address-based sampling) cost lots of money and will thus deepen divides based on resources. Something that we'll also need to grapple with.

The TL;DR is money cooks our brains. It makes us meaner, and greedier. Less ethical. It makes us think we're smarter and more talented than we are.

And let me editorialize that's reinforced by a society that tells us that rich must have worked hard to get it. When its luck.

This is what the entire goal has always been for many of the groups behind Trump. This is what the unified executive state heritage and others spoke of always was.

A fascist dictatorship and a kleptocratic white power police state.
If the president can just raise taxes and spend money without Congressional approval, the constitution is null and void.
BREAKING: Deputy White House Chief of Staff James Blair said the administration is eyeing ways to give millions of Americans $2,000 dividend checks from tariff revenue without congressional approval, per Bloomberg.
