#NoKings Culver City, CA. I’m not good at estimating crowd size but there were definitely thousands. It spread from in front of City Hall several blocks in both directions on Culver Blvd. 100% peaceful. This is Los Angeles. No human is illegal on stolen land.

In addition to the brave Angelenos protesting ICE downtown, some of us walked in a fully peaceful Pride celebration where the vibe was incredibly positive and supportive. Shout out to all the beautiful queer folk and allies who attended. p.s. Trans lives matter.

I have a who-knows mix, probably some shepherd, definitely some Lab. She is short haired yet somehow the biggest shedder I’ve ever had and greasy with it too. Just a big greasy blondie 😂

JFC to everything. Here are some spring flowers from the backyard as a moment of peace.
Bright orange pomegranate flower with pale yellow stamens against blurred green foliage. The petals look like silk. Blush pink rosebud still tightly curled in its green sepals. Bonus green aphid on the rounded base of the rosebud. Deep violet clematis flower against green foliage and a couple of pointed still-closed buds. Central boss of red and yellow stamens visible in the center of the four-petaled flower. Cultivar: Polish Spirit. Technically a flower bud, a tightly closed Violetta artichoke is in a cluster of gray-green leaves with bright sun shining on it.
