Remember, kids: A real big goal of "AI" is to entirely sever capital from labor, and no, there will be no universal basic income, you can all just starve and die, thanks

AI is already taking jobs away from entry-level workers
Software and customer service are most at risk right now and could be the canary in the coal mine.

Ex-farm worker here.

We need to talk about this whole "But a living wage for farm workers would spike the cost of food!" thing.

Not true AT ALL.

Y'all don't understand how fast experienced farm workers are.

The average tomato picker pulls 650lbs per hour.

At $20/hr, that's $0.03/lb for labor.

The Right really is in disarray because they cannot seem to figure out if they should push “Zohran Mamdani is going to bring Sharia Law” or “Zohran Mamdani treats his wife with too much equality” as a smear campaign, so they are doing both.

AOC played ball and did everything Pelosi told her and was rewarded by being passed over for a 75-year-old who died four months later. There have now been four House votes this year where Dems lost by the margin of members who died in office. No one has more right to say this than her

It is 100% carrying water for the opposition to participate in this collective delusion that Dems for some reason need to answer for every teen who throws a rock rather than hold the Trump admin accountable for intentionally creating chaos and breaking the law to stoke violence.

They are in charge.

Deploying Marines to LA isn’t normal. It’s a gross abuse of power similar to what we see from dictators around the world, setting the stage for martial law or full-on authoritarianism.

Give me a super cut of every time a Republican has told us to “let the states decide” for the last 50 years, as the Marines are sent into a city they were not needed or asked for.

Even when there's footage of it happening-
Even when someone in that footage says what just happened-
News outlets *still* can't bring themselves to say that "a cop shot someone".

It’s going to add $3 trillion to $5 trillion to the national debt. Johnson is simply lying here, bless his heart.
WELKER: If the big beautiful bill does add to the debt, will Trump own it?

JOHNSON: It's not gonna add to the debt

W: Experts say this will add trillions to the deficit. Can you really guarantee this will not add one penny of debt?

JOHNSON: I'm telling you this is going to reduce the deficit

Sen. Joni Ernst's "We all are going to die" comment is GOP code for "It's okay to kill the poor early."

Yesterday, I saw Musk's biographer Walter Isaacson wheeled out for a TV interview under the chyron "Musk: Back to Business" and it really feels like the media is entirely happy to go along with a concerted PR effort to increase Musk's finances by downplaying what he did to your government.
Elon Musk, who once called himself President Trump’s "first buddy," said he is ending his government work to spend more time on his companies.

Randstad: Employees appear more likely to make trade-offs as bargaining power weakens
Workers value employability, time autonomy and well-being and would give up a higher salary and remote work in exchange, Randstad says.

No, say it louder. It's absolute bullshit how Across the Spider-Verse made over $300 million in profit, yet neither Marvel nor Sony could be bothered to defray the hospital bills of the man who co-created Miguel O'Hara. Instead they left his wife and family scrambling to afford to live.
feels kind of obscene to say this now, but Peter David probably could've spent a few more years with his loved ones had he received just a little help from an industry he earned millions of dollars for

The bill contains harmful cuts to Medicaid. It also contains a provision that would prevent states from regulating AI at all…
FOR 10 YEARS.
