"ha ha bitches, I got a new scooter" is a Top 20 line of the 21st century
I love him. “The first time I caught up to [ICE], I could tell that they already knew who I was. They had seen me before, so they thought they were just going to speed away. I was like, ‘Ha ha, bitches, I got a new scooter!’”
Meet the veteran who chases ICE on a scooter
Clifford “Buzz” Grambo patrols the streets of Baltimore to keep his neighbors safe—and make federal agents uncomfortable.

It brings me no joy to share another transportation survey. But if we want a high quality and fair transportation system that provides accessibility to everyone, we have to fill these damn things out.
VDOT wants input on the future of the intersection of I-64 and 5th Street.

If you’re wondering how to respond, see the screenshot below from our friend Peter Krebs at PEC.

The survey closes Friday the 21st (tomorrow!), so please take a few minutes to fill out now.

I want people to displace the imaginary depictions of *revolutions* that they have come to create in their heads with the actual small revolutionary acts that happen daily. We might get closer to revolution that way.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

Since fabulously wealthy people too often exhaust all legal kicks and move to forbidden fruits to titillate,

and,

since fabulously wealthy people are functionally above the law and thereby cannot be stopped,

it follows,

civil society should outlaw and eliminate the existence of fabulous wealth.

Tim Cook, the head of Apple, is having a nice dinner with MBS, who regularly orders executions, including for tweets.

Apple hosts "a Saudi app that allows men to track the movement of their wives and daughters. In 2019, Mr. Cook said he would investigate the app, but it is still available today."

To me, the biggest tell that AI is massively overvalued is that Big Tech has to keep shoving it in our faces. I just noticed Chrome has a 'Gemini' button at the top of the browser, and I'm getting prompts all over the place, including Zoom, to 'try AI.'

Julie nails the problem here. The press lets him get away with this shit all the time, showing zero support for each other. It's what has allowed him and the White House to just lie and insult people with impunity. Shame on all of them. This is absurd.
I just watched the whole video, and not a single reporter stood up for her. Everyone just pivoted to asking questions on other topics.

This is shameful.
When asked if there was anything "incriminating" in Epstein's emails, Trump pointed a finger in a female reporter's face and snapped. 'Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.'

Surprising no one, the person who answered the phone at McGuire's DC office could not tell me how he plans to vote tomorrow on HR 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

If you're a VA-05 voter, his number is 202-225-4711 so you can share your thoughts.

“The ultimate luxury is privacy,”

It's not.

The ultimate luxury is community. These people keep paying more and more for isolation when we know from research that we need community and that small pleasant interactions, like with the grocery store clerk, are really important.
