Make masks FIT and FREE! As we experience a record breaking flu surge and the ongoing effects of COVID, now would be a great time to ramp up efforts to make high quality N95 masks free and widely available. Really wish free mask distribution was a regular feature of progressive events for example.

Pro tip: If you are attending a crowded event in winter, wearing a well-fitting mask like an N95 can serve double duty by keeping your face warm and keeping viruses away.

(yes, transmission can still happen outdoors in crowds or with close and sustained contact to someone who is sick).

The 80's and 90's were the worst but current violent crime rates are still better than the 60's and 70's. This country was violent AF even 50-60 years ago which is why MAGA is nothing but racism and sexism. America was not a better place by any measure 50 years ago.

As we experience a huge surge of flu cases, a reminder that the widespread usage of masks at the start of the COVID pandemic wiped out a strain of the flu.

If you haven’t been masking up lately, now would be a great time to restart.

Written by the father of a trans girl…

“When society tries to police and exclude trans girls, it ends up policing all girls.

Because transmisogyny does not just say, “Trans girls aren’t real girls.” It also says, “There is only one correct way to be a girl.””
Why the War on Trans Girls Is a War on Girlhood
Excluding trans girls is controlling who can be girls, and who can't, further dividing children and causing harm

Badgering others about the tools they need to survive is stigmatizing and ableist, and should have no place in decent society.
