People seem to be falsely equating “a calm demeanor” with civility.

A slur said with a smile is still a slur. Dehumanizing language couched within “Hey, friend, agree to disagree…” is still violence. It’s not your tone that dictates civility, it’s your words, actions, and beliefs.

Plus likely decreasing vaccination rates.
